Welcome to Widdison Racing!
Racing has always been in the Widdison family with Craig's father being a former jockey and trainer himself. Craig went to university after finishing his secondary education to become a PE teacher, but the racing bug got the better of him and he soon returned to the game he loved. Craig has a great deal of knowledge and experience behind him and has learnt from some of the best trainers in the business.
Craig's approach is simple. He runs a 'hands on' operation with the advantage of being able to ride his own horses in work. Being so close to the horses allows Craig and his team to better understand each individual and it's needs, providing an advantage when it comes to training regimes and race planning. Craig understands no two horses are the same and he strives to get the best out of his team by keeping them happy, healthy and relaxed in a country environment.
Located at the Wodonga Training Complex the facilities Craig has at his disposal are first class. Facilities include both sand and grass tracks, large boxes, spacious undercover yards, large outside yards, Pasteurised paddocks, horse walker, sandroll and a 50m straight swimming pool.
