Willi Willi has had a freshen up since running seven of 10/2000 m five weeks ago at Caulfield in a BM 84 handicap when arguably not seeing out the 2000m distance, he has won at this track & distance 2 starts back when running on strongly to score easing down by 3/4 of a length, having also won 5 starts back at this venue over a mile.

Best of luck to Jacka Investments on Saturday with their runner at Flemington.

Race 2 1800m

Club Stand Handicap

KINGS WILL DREAM has drawn to get soft run and is unbeaten in three Oz starts. This is a stiffer test for him though. SIN TO WIN didn't quicken (standard!) but went to line very nicely and was only first up. He may be able to turn the tables at 1800m and will be a better price. Forgiving WILLI WILLI for his last-start effort (played up pre-race, and is a better Flemington horse). WHEAL LEISURE had no hope in slowly run 1400m race fresh. She beat handy Hardham second up last prep then was on their heels in group races. Wary HARRISON!
