Leeton To Host Racing On Tuesday

The Leeton Jockey Club will see one Craig Widdison runner in the form of Steve's Choice to compete on Tuesday, August 22 with overcast conditions, racing on a soft seven.

The single stable entrant will compete in the Antoinette's Showcase Jewellers class 2 handicap over 1050 m with Steve's Choice to be ridden by Ms Stacey Metcalfe jumping from barrier five with a field of 10 to compete.

Steve's Choice is a six-year-old chestnut mare having raced on 18 occasions for two wins and six placings earning prize-money exceeding $27,000.

When last in competition she raced at Wodonga on a heavy 8/1200 m finishing ninth of 11 with Daniel Moor the pilot arriving 7.0 lengths behind, Make Mine Brandy in a time of 1:14.12.

Craig has made a gear adjustment for this outing by removing the Ear Muffs and adding Winkers.
