Stable Runners For Craig Widdison For Echuca On Sunday

Team Widdison will supply two runners to the Echuca race club meeting on Sunday, May 28 with overcast conditions supporting a 10 race card.

The first of the stable runners will see Cochranes Gap compete in race three in The Murphy's turf and landscaping maiden plate over 1400 m with Nick Souquet to ride the runner returning from a spell.

Cochranes Gap is a five-year-old chestnut gelding having raced on six occasions with the latest at Wangaratta on November 21 finishing midfield 8 of 16 with Robert Beattie aboard arriving 5.60 lengths behind Hard Go Jo.

Race eight will see the Ferrari Building & Maintenance BM64 handicap over 1400 m with Lord Laurie to be ridden by Nick Souquet, jumping from barrier five in a field of 14.
